Having the fear of God does not depict becoming of afraid of him, rather fearing God means to have deep reverence and respect for him. What Does The Bible Say About Fearing God?
God have instructed us to fear him as seen in Psalms 33:8 “Let all the earth fear the Lord, let all the people of the world revere him”. Jesus also went ahead to speak to us in several scriptures in the Bible, the essence and benefits of having the fear of God.
