The Bible places great value on the idea of God’s mercy, portraying it as his nature. Mercy in the Biblical context means compassion and forgiveness. This type of compassion and forgiveness surpasses judgement. In the New Testament, Jesus taught about mercy and also demonstrating it through his actions.
