What Does The Bible Say About Training Up A Child?

There is no better source of information for Christian parenting other than the Bible. The Bible is the greatest book that has lots of great instructions, guidance and blessings embedded in it. Firstly, the scriptures clearly stated in the book of Psalm 127:3 that “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.” This is an indication that children come from the Lord, and at that we have to train and maintain these children for the one who gave them to us.

Deuteronomy 6:5-7  “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” In this passage, the Bible passes a message to us on how to bring up our kids.
