Temptations are normal difficulties that we must encounter in our Christian journey here on earth. The devil often tempts us with things that we are in dire need of, he comes with very appetizing offers for those things that we lack. The devil, while bringing those things our way, he tries to convince us that we must have those things now, thereby triggering desperation which is a killer. The enemy uses temptations to drift us away from God’s perfect timing and plans. What does the Bible say about resisting Temptation;
Whether it is the temptation of the lust of the eyes, the temptation of the pride of life or the lust of flesh, the Bible strictly instructs us to resist the devil and he will flee from us with any sort of temptation he brings our way, this can be seen in the book of James 4:7.
