Having a person to call your own is one of the greatest desires of humans. The need to be loved, cherished, cared for and protected is a natural feeling for us all. Hence finding the one we will call our own can be exhausting and frustrating, especially when it is taking longer time to find them. God has proffer guidance for us in our search for our soulmate, he is the best match maker. In other for us not to become weary and wear out in our search for a soul mate, it is important we involve God and earnestly seek for his wisdom and that will lead us to the the right one. One can be become desperate when trying to find their soul mate, but when we rely totally on God for help, it becomes easier and non pressurizing. God is the initiator of marriage, his will is for us is to get married t our soul mate, give birth to children and flourish on the face of the earth. However he has some laid down rules and principles for marriage, so while we search for the right one, we must make sure they fit into God’s plans for kingdom marriage.

And the Lord said to Adam that is not good for man to be alone, I will make a help mate suitable for him [Genesis 2:18] This scripture enlightens us on God’s desire for us to be married to the one person that is suitable for us. God went ahead to describe the qualities of love we must possess for our soul mate when we find them.
These qualities can be seen in the book of 1 Corinthians 13;4-7.
