40 Comforting Bible Verses About Provision

Food and shelter are the basic needs of humans. Without the availability of these needs, life becomes frustrating and not worth living for those in lack of it. Financial hardship is a very scary and life threatening experience that some people or many people have encountered and those that haven’t encountered it are trying their possible best to make sure it doesn’t show up on their door step. But God has assured us of his endless provision for us on all things that we need to live happily on this earth. He made it clear that we should take no thought for the things we will eat, drink and wear. In this article, we will be putting down some comforting Bible verses about provision which God promised us.

God’s provision promises to us does not only cover for our physical and stomach needs, it also covers for our spiritual and health needs. These needs are also basic for every child of God. God wants us to be in good health and at the same get closer to him, and be fully involved in his kingdom works.

As seen in the scriptures where he wrote down his wishes for us, he said that he wish we prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospereth. One very good and undeniable character of God is that he makes sure he brings to pass all his promises and thoughts towards us even before we ask.

What does the Bible say about God’s Provision?

As seen in the Book of Proverbs 10:3, God has made it known to us that he will not allow the righteous to go hungry. The Bible is filled with so many provision promises of God to us on all things that we need. God provided for the children of Isrealites during their forty days walk in the wilderness. and till today he is still providing for his own. In the book of Joel 2:26,God said that his people shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise his holy name. All these are proofs that God is our great provider.
