Pentecost is derived from the Greek word “Pentecoste” which means the 50th day which is the 50th day of the Passover. Pentecost is a Christian festival that marks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and disciples. The presence of the Holy Spirit brought about unity in the house hold of faith. Believers worshipped God without segregations in their hearts. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law”. After the Holy Spirit comes upon you, his fruits are supposed to be evident in your life. He does not just come, he comes with his fruits that enables you run the race of faith swiftly.
