Just like the story of the Hebrew boys in the Bible, their characters made them exceptional when they were in Babylon. They exhibited distinctive characters and they stood on their faith despite the threat from the King. In the same way, we are excepted to represent Christ wherever we find ourselves. As Christians, we should not be found gossiping, lying, cheating in business and relationship, backbiting, hating on one another or bearing grudge, etc. These characters do not reflect that Christ is in us. One of the ways to cultivate good character is by possessing the fruit of the holy Spirit. Naturally, it is not easy to behave excellently, especially in this era where you will be tempted severally and in many ways that can make you loose yourself. Possessing the fruits of the Holy Spirit will help us to always keep our conduct in check.
